I still estimate for a commercial ceilings subcontractor. That's over 400 projects and more than $100M in contract value, bid through shared sheets, inbox searches and follow-ups that slipped. Tidy started as the system for a working acoustical ceiling bid desk, then got opened up to every trade.

Which trades is Tidy for?
Any subcontractor or GC that bids work. About 50 CSI trades are set up by default, from acoustical ceilings and gypsum board to flooring, glazing and painting. The takeoff tools go deepest on ceilings.
Does the agent replace my estimators?
No. It does the first pass: reading the drawings, measuring, pricing from your libraries and drafting the proposal. Every measurement lands as a proposal your estimator accepts or deletes, and nothing goes to a GC until someone on your team approves it.
Do I have to change how invites reach us?
No. Forward invites to your Tidy bids address, or paste one from Gmail or Outlook and the agent builds the opportunity. If you want invites to arrive on their own, we connect your estimating inbox with Email and Bid Sync.
Will the agent email a GC without asking?
No. Follow-ups, submissions and declines are drafts until someone approves them.
Can we bring our current bid list?
Yes. Sheet Import pulls bids in from a Google Sheet estimating list.
Can I use Tidy from Claude or ChatGPT?
